Built in the 1970s to a very high standard and substantially enhanced by the current owners, the house provides over 240 m2 of quite splendid living accommodation on two floors. The upper floor, easily accessible via 2m wide steps from the front “in-out” driveway, provides the principal accommodation comprising a large attractive L-shaped living room/dining room (40 m2), with log burner and two sets of French windows which lead to a conservatory providing elevated views over the garden. Poitiers airport is about 50 minutes away by car, Limoges airport just a bit further at just over an hour. Access to TGV trains is possible at Poitiers, and main line trains at La Souterraine. La Trimouille provides a wide range of amenities including a primary school, cafe-restaurant, a small supermarket, a post office, a pharmacy and a bank. Secondary schooling and larger supermarkets are provided at Montmorillon, about 15 to 20 minutes away by car.
