You can also fly into Grenoble, Geneva or Lyon airport which are around a 2 hour transfer all benefit from regular charter and schedule flights from UK and to the rest of Europe. You can self-drive to the Tarentaise valley in around 9 hours from Calais, Bolougne or Dunkerque.
