The Family Home. This large house was formally the mill, and has been renovated to a high standard. On the ground floor there is a large living room, with dining area and wood burning stove . There is a fully fitted modern kitchen and separate WC. The office is off this main room and exits on to the court yard. Upstairs are three large double rooms. Two with ensuite showers and the master with ensuite bathroom. All rooms have original beams. The landing is large and offers a quiet seating area. The courtyard is large with an enormous fir tree standing in the middle. On the left of the house is an open barn used for undercover storage. Opposite the house is a large barn, the old forge, and the old goat dairy, all with planning permission to be converted into gites. To the rear of the barn is further undercover caravan storage. Space for about 20 caravans undercover. On the other side of this there is space to store at least another 30 caravans outside. The income from storage pays the running costs of the property. On the left of the house there is an enormous cathedral like barn (350m2). The old cow barn. This is currently used as workshop and for storage. Across from the house are the toilet and shower blocks. Both with four WC cubicles and two showers. Hot and cold running water. There is a prep room with sinks and a freezer. A meeting room . Camping area. A hard roadway runs all the way round the site. There are 16 hard standings with electric hook ups. The four Timber Tents provide a small kitchen area, electricity, TV and accommodate four people. A small river runs across the property. Permit fishing is available. (Carp, roach, chub, trout.) Cross the bridge to the second camping field. There is no electricity here. A ford across the river leads to another area of land, as yet not developed into a further camping field. The potential is here. Continue along the road and you come to the above ground pool. This pool is fenced. This property is well located and provides a good base for exploring the region. The campsite has many visitors from both the UK and Holland. Many returning each year or calling in on their way north or south. It is approximately a 4-5 hour drive from the ferry port at Caen.
